 90 Day Men - To Everybody  

My first pick at best album of 2002, followed closely by The Notwist's Neon Golden.

90 Day Men used to sound like every other chicago band: boring and albini overpowered. Not to say they weren't good -- they were just like everyone else in
chicago.

Now they've developed a sound. Their sound. Its haunting. Its dark. Its absolutely beautiful, and complimented by incredible musicianship.

At times i'm not sure whether this is a rock album or an electronic one. Honestly, I can't
tell if the band knows either.
