Lync - These Are Not Fall Colors
The pacific northwest sound never would have existed if it weren't for these
guys.
and no, i'm not talking about grunge.

Songs Ohia - Didn't It Rain
If writing an acoustic folky song called 'Steve Albini's Blues' isn't punk rock, i dont know what
is.
This kid is so fucking good. Will Oldham is a talentless fuck who should bury his head in shame by comparison.

Madonna - Music
When did Madonna go from making pop music to gay house music? Some of my friends are very happy about this. Many
other are not. Oh well.

Herbert - Bodily Functions
I keep putting this in and forgetting that its an electronic album. It sounds more organic than the
first tracks on Amon Tobin's Bricolage -- kind of like dark piano bar with the most beautiful vocals.

Adam F - Kaos - The Anti Acoustic Warfare
At some point in the past 5 years, Adam F went from making some of the best drum and
bass beats, to the best hip hop beats.

The Invisible Presidency - Louis W Koenig
My favorite book of all time. Not only does it explain why the civil war was not won in a week (one
of Lincoln's cabinet members siding with the Confederacy and manipulating orders), but cover's in-depth America's most influential figure ever -- Colonel Edward
Mandell House, author of The Federal Reserve, precursor-to United Nations, majority of WWI presidential documents, and more conspiracy theories than you can shake a
stick at.

The Bourne Identity
It would have been watchable, if not the utter mess of an ending. What should have taken 1hr and offered some
sort of 'closure', was compressed into 20minutes, left the plot open for syndication and brought everything discussed in the first 1.5 hrs to question.

Insomnia
As the New Yorker pointed out, Al Pacino was in nearly every shot and with reason -- to distract from the aimlessness. By
the numbers murder 'mystery' that leaves only two questions left unanswered: why kill off Martin Donovan 10 minutes in? And why bill Robin Williams at the top, when
he has less than 15minutes of screen time?

One of the first movies to truly capture a comic book feel -- and a crazy mod set from the 60s. Modesty Blaise is
little more than a female Danger Diabolik, but not nearly as entertaining.
