MPAA: Fair Use == Stealing
The DailyPress reports: Teen faces charges for recording 20-second movie clip
Apparently, according to 'local police', theater personnel and the MPAA, a 20 second clip for personal use is stealing and piracy.
This is , perhaps, the most insane thing I've heard of. We're not talking about someone filming an entire show, or filiming something with the purpose of sale... this is someone taking a 20 seconds of video in crappy resolution -- a copy of such poor and limited quality that it has no 'retail' value in the black market, and barely any utility for personal use.
I'm amazed. Truly amazed.

The Geoff Stearns Fan Club + iPhone = GREAT
Belonging to the Geoff Stearns Fan Club has its privileges.
My BIGGEST issue with the iPhone thus far has now been solved -- all thanks to Geoff!
YouTube had not yet converted the Space Lovers video to h.264 yet. For those not in the know, Space Lover is quite possibly the trashiest and most cliche video ever made - read: its f*ing amazing.
A quick note to Geoff, who knew who to talk to at YouTube and.... bam! Space Lovers , on your iPhone!
