Identity Research Repository
I've decided to create an online repository of the presentations and essays I've been giving over the years on FindMeOn and Social Mapping technologies
http://destructuring.net/IdentityResearch
As I update it from my archives, and create new material, I'll be posting it online. This wasn't supposed to launch until Monday, but some recent market activity made me push up the date.
Right now you can see the presentation I gave at the NYC Web 2.0 Meetup in May 2007. I'm busy scrubbing other documents for 'trade secrets' and 'confidential' information. I may add the streamlined version of this document which was made for the June 2007 NYC Tech meetup but not presented - we were bumped for James @ hotornot talking about the then new Facebook API.

Google's OpenSocial
Repost from http://blog.findmeon.com
We’re really incredibly flattered by the advanced info on Google’s Open Social - there is considerable overlap with the FindMeOn platform and OpenSN (open social networking) project, both of which launched last year and compromise considerable IP filings.
When FindMeOn.com launched in 2006, we were hailed as a step in the right direction - yet too futuristic and forward-thinking for the marketplace. It’s amazing to know that within two years, our vision of social network and identity portability has been accepted by the mainstream.
FindMeOn, Inc. is currently investigating the situation. Unfortunately, we can not comment any further on this matter.
